Adding airdrop functionality to your metaverse

The Your Open Metaverse plugin allows creators to airdrop items to their users. This guide will explain how to airdrop items to the wallets of your users.

Step 1: Using the airdrop node

The Your Open Metaverse plugin has an airdrop node that can be used to airdrop an item to a player. In the Node there are two values that you will need to set:

• The YomPlayer that the item will be airdropped to
• The item ID of the item that will be airdropped

The node will drop an item that is based on the item ID into the wallet of the player. The Airdrop function will not work for users that did not log in with a wallet.
